Ruby red color with purple hues. Deep black plum, cassis, violet, fresh dark earth and herb flavors flow on a silky palate to a deliciously long, velvety finish. Sassetti Livio Pertimali is an Italian wine producer based in Montalcino, Tuscany, particularly known for its Brunello wines. Livio Sassetti was one of the founders of the Consorzio del Brunello di Montalcino in 1967. The business has remained family owned and operated for three generations. The Podere Pertimali has 16 hectares (40 acres) of vineyards on the Montosoli hill, north of Montalcino.
