Creamy blackcurrant on the nose. Nice initial impact here, with juicy blackcurrant showing milky, creamy and chalky edges, giving this quite a different profile. Precise, well-defined fruit and good drive with wet stone at the end of the long finish.

Deep crimson hue. Dark fruit and spice aromas. Lively fruit on the palate with a fresh, chalky, terroir note. Tannins powerful but sculpted with a bit of chew on the finish. Refreshing saline edge. (JL)
