CRITIC REVIEWS

The 2015 Petit Figeac has a crisp, minty bouquet, more black fruit than red with a touch of honey in the background signifying the warmth of the summer. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannin, quite spicy in the mouth with touches of bay leaf and soy, firming up toward the finish with a touch of cracked black pepper on the aftertaste. It is very classic in style, a deuxième vin that belongs on the dinner table rather than being served on its own.

Good drive and raciness on the nose. Real sinew and savour. Polished tannins but good Figeac character. A success! Superior ink. GV?
