CRITIC REVIEWS

Samuel Billauds Petit Chablis is better than a lot of producers Chablis, such is the quality of the winemaking at this comparatively new domaine. Sourced from old vines on the plateau above Les Clos, this unoaked white is scented, spicy and stony with good texture and classic oyster shell notes. Great if youre on a budget.

Very different from the Bourgogne, more herbal, and definitely crisper. A wild sort of green-fruited citrus. Mouth-watering, crisp and persistent. (JH)
